Our organization was formed to provide sensible solutions to assist small businesses and individuals. Some of the services we provide include youth training, printing services (offset and digital printing) as well as publishing and business consultations. CEC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.

Our amazing team, led by Gary Washington, Director, has over 30 years of business management and training experience. His strong Christian faith and belief in helping others is the impetus for forming Carolina Encouragement Center to ensure the life and success of minority owned small businesses.

Our mission is to ensure women, veterans, disabled and or disadvantaged business owners meet state and federal goals set for minority participation in procurement. CEC trains business owners on business principles that help foster profitable contract awards and company sustainability.
